Sherwood Library
I'll be speaking tonight at Sherwood Library in Alexandria, Virginia. Hoping everyone who braved the ice last time will be able to make it out again! Tea at 7:00, and the program will start at 7:30.
The next event will be Kingstowne Library on Thursday, March 27.

Hi Lori,
I just finished your book and wanted to tell you how very much I enjoyed it. I, too, am a huge Jane admirer.
I think the thing I found so interesting is that even though I am now a grandmother I found so much in your personal story that I can identify with. In fact, I quoted a small portion of your last chapter to a friend who is struggling with the whole "doing enough to earn grace" thing. It ministered to me - and to her as well.
Have a blessed Easter Lori. Thank you for sharing your heart and doing it so very well.

Hello Lori,
As I browsed the bookstore in Friendship Heights last weekend, I ended up purchasing your book (the art of browsing is simply lost online!). I am currently suffering a case of book indecision with so many wonderful books recently purchased that I cannot decide where to start; yours, however, simply drew me in. You wrote about one of the reasons I love literature: viewing the simple acts and events of the ordinary life through a new lens, one in which we take more time to recognize and appreciate God's grace and examine the human character.
By the way, being a woman of "seven and twenty", I enjoyed yesterday's JA quote of the day!!
Please keep us updated on your next appearance in the Washington area.
Kindest regards,
Janna

Ack, I missed the Kingstowne event! Me and my scatterbrain. I'm so sorry. Hope it went well.

Linda & Janna -- thank you!! Your comments just warmed my heart.
Gina -- no worries! It was a lovely evening -- sorry you couldn't make it.
